Ordu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Metehan Nuralp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 6th minute by Metehan Nuralp got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Sancar Akyüz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Ertan Bilgen fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ordu's protests and gave Ertan Bilgen a yellow card for diving instead. In the 16th minute, Ertan Bilgen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ertaç Kuter, 17 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Arif Ensar Ayazoğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Esen Ünalp stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arif Ensar Ayazoğlu's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bayındır Hatip in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Esen Ünalp saved Ordu from getting behind. When the match clock showed 38 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Bayındır Hatip sped through Ordu's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Esen Ünalp. Arif Ensar Ayazoğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esen Ünalp having to interfere. Esen Ünalp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bayındır Hatip in the 45th minute of play.

Ordu's Esen Ünalp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bayındır Hatip in the 55th minute of play. Esen Ünalp was a little too slow when Bayındır Hatip got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 60th minute. The score was now 1-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arif Ensar Ayazoğlu got free with Esen Ünalp in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Timur Başaydın charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Timur Başaydın the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Edip Hızlan was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 69th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. With his leg Esen Ünalp managed to avoid a goal in the 73rdth minute, when FOXER's Arif Ensar Ayazoğlu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.
