The audience was convinced that Batuğ Kurman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yusuf Ergökmen was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Batuğ Kurman in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yusuf Ergökmen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Namık Kemal Gençoğlu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 40 minutes into the match, Malatyaspor's Namık Kemal Gençoğlu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mehmet Hakkı Tanın narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 41 minutes into the game, Vehdi İğdemir was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sihhiye's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Malatyaspor the free kick. The supporters of Malatyaspor booed when Sihhiye was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vehdi İğdemir didn't get a good kick on the ball.
