Genc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Muharrem Zade was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Genc's Pars Enbiya got a free kick in the 17th minute. In the 21st minute Muharrem Zade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Güray Nuh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 23rd minute by Muharrem Zade got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Muharrem Zade recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rıdvan Çetinel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sezai Energin, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Basbasi FK's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Muharrem Zade 34 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. The supporters of Basbasi FK booed when Genc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mehmet Edip Suer didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 42nd minute, Atalay Masuk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Muharrem Zade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Güray Nuh having to interfere. The supporters of Genc booed when Basbasi FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fazlı Koytak didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ferdi Camcıoğlu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Güray Nuh read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sezai Energin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. İnanç Doğan kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferdi Camcıoğlu in the 58th minute of play forced Basbasi FK's goalkeeper Güray Nuh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute of the match Abdulmelik Onat shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Güray Nuh showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 62 minutes into the match, Güvenç Ülke notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Basbasi FK's Güray Nuh. Güray Nuh was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 68th match minute, Genc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mehmet Edip Suer to maneuver through the defense. If Muharrem Zade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Genc had played much better football throughout.
