Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Macit Akgül kicked off to start the match. Göksel İkinci took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 4th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Efe Sefik. Besiktas's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 4 minutes into the game, Çakır Seci was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Besiktas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Baltalimani the free kick. Efe Sefik was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Baki Akmanoğlu. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Akay İnanır managed to get in a good position for a shot. Besiktas's supporters rose to their feet, but Akay İnanır was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aygün Muammer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Baltalimani getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Mehmet Hamdi Tunçhan hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baran Cinel in the 16th minute of play forced Baltalimani's goalkeeper Aygün Muammer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th match minute, Baltalimani was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esat Samim to maneuver through the defense. Baran Cinel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aygün Muammer having to interfere. When Baran Cinel came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Besiktas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baran Cinel couldn't finish the play. In the 28th minute, Esat Samim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 31 played minutes, Besiktas's Bektaş Ali İren shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Aygün Muammer came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Besiktas reached it. Akay İnanır scored 0-1 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aygün Muammer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Baltalimani booed when Besiktas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdullatif Ağın didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abdullatif Ağın recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Akay İnanır managed to get in a good position for a shot. Besiktas's supporters rose to their feet, but Akay İnanır was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aygün Muammer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Akay İnanır to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Akay İnanır in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aygün Muammer saved Baltalimani from getting behind. Mehmet Hamdi Tunçhan's late challenge caught a Besiktas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mehmet Hamdi Tunçhan helped the player get up and apologised. In the 54th minute, Mehmet Hamdi Tunçhan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aygün Muammer made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Baran Cinel sent off a good shot on target. Akay İnanır might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aygün Muammer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Akay İnanır ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Baltalimani's goalkeeper Aygün Muammer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Aygün Muammer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Akay İnanır in the 71st minute of play. Besiktas's Akay İnanır got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Baran Cinel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Aygün Muammer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 80th minute Macit Akgül shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Efe Sefik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 81 played minutes Besiktas got a freekick which was hit by Çakır Seci. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Abdullatif Ağın during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 83rd match minute, Besiktas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abdullatif Ağın to maneuver through the defense. Ahmet Kağan Ocak spun around in front of the goal 84 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Besiktas's goal. Baran Cinel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aygün Muammer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. Besiktas's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
