The audience was convinced that Uluç Yalap's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Saffet Ayvaz was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. After 9 minutes, Uluç Server made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Gaziantep's Saffet Ayvaz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With his leg Saffet Ayvaz managed to avoid a goal in the 12thth minute, when Konak Small Artillery's Uluç Server fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Saffet Ayvaz stood somewhat misplaced when Uluç Yalap came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 13 minute. Oğuzkan Başöz hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Yahya Kemal Coşkuner spun around in front of the goal 17 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Konak Small Artillery's goal. In the 22nd match minute, Konak Small Artillery was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oğuzkan Başöz to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Konak Small Artillery getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Levent Kocaalp hit a great ball. Yakup Sahir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 30th minute, Uluç Yalap got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Serdar Temizkanoğlu hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Gaziantep's Saffet Ayvaz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Gaziantep from getting a goal against them. In the 36th minute, Uluç Server got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Uluç Yalap in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Saffet Ayvaz saved Gaziantep from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Yahya Kemal Coşkuner managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gaziantep's supporters rose to their feet, but Yahya Kemal Coşkuner was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ayvaz Cerme breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Uluç Yalap made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Yakup Sahir left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gaziantep fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Saffet Ayvaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Uluç Server in the 69th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Gaziantep's zone, Uluç Yalap stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Saffet Ayvaz came out of the goal and Uluç Yalap tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Konak Small Artillery's Ayvaz Cerme got control of the ball when Yakup Sahir tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Uluç Server had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Akay Taycan kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. In the 80th minute of the match, Yahya Kemal Coşkuner tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ayvaz Cerme saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 82 minutes, Yahya Kemal Coşkuner mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gaziantep and the Konak Small Artillery players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 83 played minutes Gaziantep got a freekick which was hit by Yahya Kemal Coşkuner. The supporters of Konak Small Artillery booed when Gaziantep was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yetkiner Perva didn't get a good kick on the ball. Uluç Server sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Saffet Ayvaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Uluç Yalap in the 91st minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Konak Small Artillery fans cheered their team off the field, for while Gaziantep had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
