Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Derviş Şerafeddin took the kick off in the first half of the match. Cahit Denizcan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Derviş Şerafeddin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kıraç Özmen having to make a save. 8 minutes into the match, Ali Ömer Temizöz notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Kocaelispor's Kıraç Özmen. Kıraç Özmen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dilaver Gençyaz made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Cahit Denizcan sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cahit Denizcan got free with Dilaver Gençyaz in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kıraç Özmen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Derviş Şerafeddin, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. 23 minutes into the match, Kocaelispor's goal looked a bit too open when Derviş Şerafeddin came free, but Kıraç Özmen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Ömer Temizöz in the 24th minute of play forced Kocaelispor's goalkeeper Kıraç Özmen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Derviş Şerafeddin in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kıraç Özmen saved Kocaelispor from getting behind. After 28 played minutes, Real Mardin FC's Doğaner Civanbaht shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Kıraç Özmen came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Real Mardin FC reached it. When Real Mardin FC's Gökmen Server in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kocaelispor's goalie prevented a goal. Cahit Denizcan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dilaver Gençyaz having to interfere. Real Mardin FC's Dilaver Gençyaz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Real Mardin FC from getting a goal against them. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Real Mardin FC's goalkeeper Dilaver Gençyaz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Birol Vefai charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Birol Vefai the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 44th minute, Birol Vefai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Derviş Şerafeddin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Kıraç Özmen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cahit Denizcan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Derviş Şerafeddin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kıraç Özmen having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Kocaelispor's zone, Kıraç Cenan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kıraç Özmen came out of the goal and Kıraç Cenan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cahit Denizcan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 65 played minutes Real Mardin FC got a freekick which was hit by Gökmen Server. If Derviş Şerafeddin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kıraç Özmen was a little too slow when Derviş Şerafeddin got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 77th minute. The score was now 1-2. After having played for 82 minutes, Gökmen Server managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real Mardin FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gökmen Server was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cahit Denizcan in the 84th minute of play forced Real Mardin FC's goalkeeper Dilaver Gençyaz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dilaver Gençyaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alparslan Tanalp in the 85th minute of the match. After 86 played minutes Kocaelispor got a freekick which was hit by Zühtü Ruşen. 88 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Kocaelispor's Cahit Denizcan fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Dilaver Gençyaz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Çağrı Erel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Derviş Şerafeddin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kıraç Özmen having to interfere. The Real Mardin FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Real Mardin FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
