Vahap Balcıoğlu's late challenge caught a Selcuklu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vahap Balcıoğlu helped the player get up and apologised. Selcuklu made a substitution. Cemil Ezelhan replaced Melih Cevdet Aksakal. In the 13th match minute, anadolu yıldızları fk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vahap Balcıoğlu to maneuver through the defense. Selcuklu's Alptuğ Ispartalı got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Burhan Dikmen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. İzzet Rafih tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cumali Murathan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without İzzet Rafih having to interfere. İzzet Rafih was a little too slow when Burhan Dikmen got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 47th minute. The score was now 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alptuğ Ispartalı was the one to do the kick off. Arif Çelebi Totuk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mazhar Karaalp, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. After 59 minutes of play, Selcuklu's Burhan Dikmen made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. İzzet Rafih was left in no man's land by his defense there! İzzet Rafih made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cumali Murathan in the 78th minute of play. Cumali Murathan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but İzzet Rafih read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. Demiralp İklim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. İzzet Rafih tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 91stth minute of the game Burhan Dikmen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but anadolu yıldızları fk's İzzet Rafih was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 95 minutes into the match, Alptuğ Ispartalı had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of İzzet Rafih. anadolu yıldızları fk's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alptuğ Ispartalı was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0.
