Feyzullay Necati fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Batıkan Öksüzoğlu having to interfere. Cay's Gökçen Taşboğa was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 17th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Ferhan Toker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aktan İltemur having to interfere. Rafet Turkay kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, İstanbul FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gökçen Taşboğa came free, but Aktan İltemur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 41 minutes, Hakkı Devrim Necat mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the İstanbul FC and the Cay players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Cay booed when İstanbul FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hakkı Devrim Necat didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gökçen Taşboğa was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferhan Toker in the 52nd minute of play forced İstanbul FC's goalkeeper Aktan İltemur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aktan İltemur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gökçen Taşboğa in the 53rd minute of play. Gökçen Taşboğa took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aktan İltemur. Aktan İltemur dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. If Sancarbey Tunçboğa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 71st minute, Ferhan Toker got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Cay fans' excitement grew in the 78th match minute when Cay's Gökçen Taşboğa looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Batıkan Öksüzoğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oğuz Halıcı, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Feyzullay Necati fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Batıkan Öksüzoğlu having to interfere. In the 86th minute, İstanbul FC's Oğuz Halıcı dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-1. In the 93rd minute, Rafet Turkay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cay's Sacit Ercan couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 94th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for İstanbul FC. There was no doubt that Cay were the better team. Cay's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
