With an extended leg and a bit of luck Serdar Hüsrev prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Baykuş's Alkan Berksoy got a free kick in the 7th minute. In the 11th minute, Şahap Uca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ferhat Kadrican fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mürsel Hekimbaşı having to interfere. Mürsel Hekimbaşı showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Utkan Saim, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Utkan Saim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mürsel Hekimbaşı having to interfere. After some careless play in the Bergama defense, Ferhat Kadrican kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mürsel Hekimbaşı. The Bergama fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mürsel Hekimbaşı should have stopped the shot. In the 27th match minute, Bergama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Şahap Uca to maneuver through the defense. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Utkan Saim made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers İlyas Tolga Ülkem in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Serdar Hüsrev saved Baykuş from getting behind. Ferhat Kadrican received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Mürsel Hekimbaşı tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Utkan Saim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Bergama getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Ahmet Hakan Vafi hit a great ball. In the 68th minute, İlyas Tolga Ülkem made a precise shot to the right of Serdar Hüsrev. Baykuş's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. İlyas Tolga Ülkem sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. If Ferhat Kadrican had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Bergama supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Bergama would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
