A collision led to Osmangazi getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Ragıp Rikap hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Manisa buyuk sehir defense, Ragıp Rikap kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kenan Yura. The Manisa buyuk sehir fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kenan Yura should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Manisa buyuk sehir getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Tuncay Nafi hit a great ball. A hard and well directed shot from Ali Nejat Dokuzer led 22 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Manisa buyuk sehir's Kenan Yura became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 1-2. After 25 played minutes Manisa buyuk sehir got a freekick which was hit by Saruhan Başkurt. If Mustafa Kemal Böke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kenan Yura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ragıp Rikap, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ragıp Rikap received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Kenan Yura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 37 minutes into the game, one of Manisa buyuk sehir:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Osmangazi a penalty, 39 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ali Nejat Dokuzer, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Manisa buyuk sehir's Kenan Yura. 1-3. Kenan Yura came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Osmangazi's Ragıp Rikap. But to his dismay, Ragıp Rikap quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Ragıp Rikap managed to get in a good position for a shot. Osmangazi's supporters rose to their feet, but Ragıp Rikap was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kenan Yura breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Birol Cevahir stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 50th match minute, Osmangazi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bedrettin Öztay to maneuver through the defense. After 52 minutes of play, Manisa buyuk sehir's Bayındır Nebahattin made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Oktay Hızır was left in no man's land by his defense there! With his leg Kenan Yura managed to avoid a goal in the 60thth minute, when Osmangazi's Ragıp Rikap fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Kenan Yura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mustafa Kemal Böke in the 61st minute of play. Ragıp Rikap recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 67th minute Mustafa Kemal Böke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kenan Yura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ragıp Rikap fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kenan Yura having to interfere. A hard shot 77 in the game by Erberk Başer from a close distance when the talented Kenan Yura managed to make a qualified save. Manisa buyuk sehir's players were relieved. Kenan Yura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mustafa Kemal Böke in the 81st minute of play. In the 86th minute, Ragıp Rikap made a precise shot to the right of Kenan Yura. Manisa buyuk sehir's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-6. Aycan Asıf took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 91st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Oktay Hızır. Osmangazi's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ragıp Rikap received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Kenan Yura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Osmangazi played a much better game than Manisa buyuk sehir and deserved their victory. The Manisa buyuk sehir players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
