Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Güral Özbilen got the match started through his kick off. An unexpected shot in the 4th minute by Tugay Alptekin got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Güral Özbilen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Baycan Uygan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tahir Çetiner might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Baycan Uygan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tahir Çetiner ran back to his position shaking his head. Tahir Çetiner took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Baycan Uygan. Baycan Uygan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. A collision led to Istanbul SK getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Bayezit Aktekin hit a great ball. Erdemli SK were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after Istanbul SK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nurettin Urza took the corner. The corner led Erdemli SK's Nurettin Urza to fire away a dangerous shot which Baycan Uygan despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 22nd minute, Baran Türev got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Özkan Cevan made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Baran Türev sent off a good shot on target. Tugay Alptekin had several of the Erdemli SK's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 25 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Özkan Cevan as he didn't even see the shot coming. Baran Türev struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Özkan Cevan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Istanbul SK. Bayezit Aktekin's late challenge caught a Erdemli SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bayezit Aktekin helped the player get up and apologised. After 34 played minutes Istanbul SK got a freekick which was hit by Bayezit Aktekin. After 36 played minutes Istanbul SK got a freekick which was hit by Bircan Hacıbeyoğlu. After having played for 37 minutes, Güral Özbilen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Erdemli SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Güral Özbilen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tahir Çetiner blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Baycan Uygan having to make a save. After 40 played minutes Istanbul SK got a freekick which was hit by Bayezit Aktekin. The audience was convinced that Tahir Çetiner's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Baycan Uygan was relentless in the 45th minute of the game.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Baran Türev was the one to do the kick off. Güral Özbilen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tahir Çetiner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baycan Uygan having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Güral Özbilen in the 57th minute of play forced Istanbul SK's goalkeeper Baycan Uygan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th minute, Istanbul SK's Ceyhan Ulutekin seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Ceyhan Ulutekin the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Istanbul SK protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ceyhan Ulutekin had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 58th minute of the game. One of Istanbul SK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Erdemli SK:s goal. The referee gave Erdemli SK a penalty, 60 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Nurettin Urza, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Istanbul SK's Baycan Uygan. 1-2. Baycan Uygan made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Tahir Çetiner sent off a good shot on target. If Güral Özbilen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 73 minutes into the match, Erdemli SK's Güral Özbilen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Baycan Uygan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Güral Özbilen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baycan Uygan having to interfere. Istanbul SK's Baycan Uygan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Güral Özbilen in the 78th minute of play. Baycan Uygan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tahir Çetiner in the 83rd minute. Güral Özbilen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tahir Çetiner got free with Baycan Uygan in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Istanbul SK's Tugay Alptekin got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Erdemli SK players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
