If Erman Yahya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Çağlar Uluman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Özkan Cevan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 18 minutes into the game, Cizre SK's Çağlar Uluman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. After 31 minutes, Güral Özbilen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Erdemli SK and the Cizre SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Güral Özbilen kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. In the 32nd minute of the match Nihat Cesur sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Özkan Cevan skillfully saved the ball. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Çağlar Uluman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Çağlar Uluman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Özkan Cevan having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Ant Gündoğan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Erdemli SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Ant Gündoğan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
