In the 2nd minute, Latif Kutel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Fırat Şahinkan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. In the 10th minute, Emrullah Altıparmak left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kocaköy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Kirkagac SK's zone, Rafettin Iğdırlı stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yunus Oyhan came out of the goal and Rafettin Iğdırlı tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kirkagac SK's Yunus Oyhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafettin Iğdırlı in the 18th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Rafettin Iğdırlı left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kocaköy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 22nd minute of the match Ali Galip Berkkan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Yunus Oyhan skillfully saved the ball. In the 26th minute, Aygün Akalp got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kirkagac SK's Aygün Akalp was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 27th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. If Fırat Şahinkan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emrullah Altıparmak made a kick off. If Emrullah Altıparmak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Kirkagac SK getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Evren Uzlet hit a great ball. 57 minutes into the match, Emrullah Altıparmak notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Kirkagac SK's Yunus Oyhan. Yunus Oyhan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Latif Kutel took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Yunus Oyhan to make any attempt to save it. Fırat Şahinkan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Kirkagac SK's Birol Tümerkan got a free kick in the 79th minute. In the 88th minute, Rafettin Iğdırlı got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With his leg Yunus Oyhan managed to avoid a goal in the 89thth minute, when Kocaköy's Rafettin Iğdırlı fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a defensive mix-up in Kocaköy's zone, Aygün Akalp stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vecdi Hekim came out of the goal and Aygün Akalp tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Kocaköy eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
