Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ali Faruk İzci in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adem Balkan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Samsunspor getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Göktuğ Tuncalp hit a great ball. Tamer Tolun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Faruk İzci in the 13th minute of play forced Samsunspor's goalkeeper Adem Balkan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Karahan Guftar kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Adem Balkan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tamer Tolun in the 44th minute of the match. Aral Mümtaz made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Levent Ataoğlu sent off a good shot on target. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The wind increased when Ali Faruk İzci made the kick off in the second half. Adem Balkan came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Göle JK's Tamer Tolun. But to his dismay, Tamer Tolun quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Göle JK's Ali Faruk İzci slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Adem Balkan. That made the score 0-3 after 61 minutes of play. Levent Ataoğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aral Mümtaz having to interfere. Samsunspor's defense didn't have a chance, in the 81st minute, when Kuzey Özerdal scored to the left of an out of position Adem Balkan, making the score, 0-4. Tamer Tolun's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 85thth minute, Adem Balkan skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Göle JK eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
