Celil Özerol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 5 played minutes, Göle JK's Baybora Şennur shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Celil Özerol came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Göle JK reached it. If Tamer Tolun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 16th minute Tamer Tolun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celil Özerol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aral Mümtaz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erdal Işınay, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Erdal Işınay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 23 minutes into the game, Edip Sehrud was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Göle JK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ihsangazi the free kick. After 26 minutes of play, Göle JK's Ali Faruk İzci made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Celil Özerol was left in no man's land by his defense there! Erdal Işınay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aral Mümtaz having to interfere. Abdulbaki Özkurt kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Erdal Işınay made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Faruk İzci in the 61st minute of play forced Ihsangazi's goalkeeper Celil Özerol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Ali Faruk İzci's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Celil Özerol was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erdal Işınay in the 67th minute of play forced Göle JK's goalkeeper Aral Mümtaz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th minute, Abayhan Dalokay made a precise shot to the right of Aral Mümtaz. Göle JK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Tamer Tolun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Celil Özerol made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abayhan Dalokay in the 82nd minute of play forced Göle JK's goalkeeper Aral Mümtaz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ihsangazi's Abayhan Dalokay got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aral Mümtaz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Erdal Işınay's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. Celil Özerol made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Tamer Tolun sent off a good shot on target. Şeray Sümer hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. The long shot by Baybora Şennur in the 91st minute really tested Celil Özerol's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 96th match minute, Göle JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kuzey Özerdal to maneuver through the defense. Ali Revan was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 97th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal.
