After a defensive mix-up in Diski's zone, Batıray Çoğahan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aral Şahit came out of the goal and Batıray Çoğahan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lütfi Suphi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mehmet Ferit Murathan having to interfere. Mehmet Ferit Murathan came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Diski's Yavuz Selim Murat. But to his dismay, Yavuz Selim Murat quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Lütfi Suphi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Diski's supporters rose to their feet, but Lütfi Suphi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mehmet Ferit Murathan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Yavuz Selim Murat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Yavuz Selim Murat managed to get in a good position for a shot. Diski's supporters rose to their feet, but Yavuz Selim Murat was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Mehmet Ferit Murathan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Hayri Heybetli fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Viransehir SK's protests and gave Hayri Heybetli a yellow card for diving instead. In the 62nd match minute, Diski was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orçun Yücel to maneuver through the defense. The goal made the score 1-1. 80 minutes into the game, one of Diski:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 82 minutes, Viransehir SK's Erhan Refi got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Aral Şahit. Yavuz Selim Murat struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Mehmet Ferit Murathan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Diski. In the 94th minute, Batıray Çoğahan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Batıray Çoğahan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Aral Şahit tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
