After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Alphan Oğuzalp managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kütahyaspor's supporters rose to their feet, but Alphan Oğuzalp was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rüştü Özbekkan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. sirvan's Haşmet Sendur got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Alphan Oğuzalp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 28 minutes into the match, Alphan Oğuzalp had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rüştü Özbekkan. sirvan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alphan Oğuzalp was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 31st minute, Haşmet Sendur made a precise shot to the right of Cevat Ulunay. Kütahyaspor's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Alphan Oğuzalp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Alphan Oğuzalp who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 41stth minute tested the skills of Rüştü Özbekkan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Alphan Oğuzalp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 46th minute, Baturalp Şahistan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The wind increased when Erkan Muammer made the kick off in the second half. After 61 played minutes Behram Cenap rounded Kütahyaspor's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-2. After 65 played minutes sirvan got a freekick which was hit by Sadettin Özaltuğ. 67 minutes into the match, Kütahyaspor's Serdar Kutlay broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Baturalp Şahistan kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. If Behram Cenap had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of sirvan booed when Kütahyaspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nihat Avşar didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 96 minutes, Haşmet Sendur managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. sirvan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Haşmet Sendur was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Baturalp Şahistan kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. sirvan had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
