Ruhi Zekai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sakut Pakel charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sakut Pakel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Antalya's Sakut Pakel got a free kick in the 10th minute. Abdi Mehmet Semavi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yunus Kerim having to interfere. Bora Han Orans short, quick shot in the 42ndth minute got Yunus Kerim to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Yunus Kerim acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 47th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Sebati Mertol. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ruhi Zekai was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Birant Ozansoy got free with Hafız Dokuzoğlu in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
