Göktürk Albayrak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oğuzer Tunçöven having to interfere. After 7 minutes of play, Gerze JK's Boğaç Aksungur made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Selman Uluant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Oğuzer Tunçöven made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Göktürk Albayrak in the 11th minute of play. Ensar Erbay received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Oğuzer Tunçöven came out and tried to block the shot, but Ensar Erbay slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 13th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Etiler SK's Göktürk Albayrak slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Oğuzer Tunçöven. That made the score 2-1 after 17 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hüseyin Rahmi Gündem in the 26th minute of play forced Etiler SK's goalkeeper Selman Uluant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oğuzer Tunçöven made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Göktürk Albayrak in the 28th minute of play. In the 28th match minute, Gerze JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niyazi Akbuğ to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute of the match Sezgin Mazlum shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Oğuzer Tunçöven showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to Etiler SK getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Bahadır Ezelhan hit a great ball. In the 35th minute of the match Kağan Saik sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Selman Uluant skillfully saved the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bahadır Ezelhan during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Etiler SK's Bahadır Ezelhan got a free kick in the 36th minute. Ensar Erbay might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Oğuzer Tunçöven. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ensar Erbay ran back to his position shaking his head. Göktürk Albayrak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Gerze JK's Selman Durak got a free kick in the 47th minute. When Ensar Erbay, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 48 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Oğuzer Tunçöven was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Göktürk Albayrak to strike the kick off in the second half. Oğuzer Tunçöven showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Göktürk Albayrak, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Hüseyin Rahmi Gündem fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Selman Uluant having to interfere. Ensar Erbay's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Oğuzer Tunçöven read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Etiler SK's goalkeeper Selman Uluant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Boğaç Aksungur. Kağan Saik made a great header on Gerze JK's corner, it was just that Etiler SK's Selman Uluant managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 75th minute, Gerze JK's Boğaç Aksungur dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boğaç Aksungur in the 85th minute of play forced Etiler SK's goalkeeper Selman Uluant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gerze JK's supporters rose to their feet, but Hüseyin Rahmi Gündem was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Selman Uluant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Gerze JK booed when Etiler SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bahadır Ezelhan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 91 played minutes, Gerze JK's Kağan Saik shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Selman Uluant came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gerze JK reached it. 94 minutes into the match, Etiler SK's goalkeeper Selman Uluant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hüseyin Rahmi Gündem. In the 95th minute, Boğaç Aksungur reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Selman Uluant. The goal made the score 2-3. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Gerze JK walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
