The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Veysel Taze blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Boran Ongunsu having to make a save. After 9 minutes, Mustafa Emrah Ünalp mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Arac SK and the Azdavay SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 10 played minutes Arac SK got a freekick which was hit by Mustafa Emrah Ünalp. In the 16th minute, Veysel Taze got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 20th match minute, Arac SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Münir Hürmetli to maneuver through the defense. Bektaş İmren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aktan Uçuk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Veysel Taze in the 45th minute of play forced Azdavay SK's goalkeeper Boran Ongunsu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Veysel Taze made a kick off. Erkut Başesgi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Behram Pekgöz during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 55th minute, Behram Pekgöz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 67 minutes into the match, Azdavay SK's goalkeeper Boran Ongunsu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aktan Uçuk. Mehmet Hakkı İleri charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mehmet Hakkı İleri the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bektaş İmren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 82nd minute, Aktan Uçuk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mustafa Emrah Ünalp kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. In the 89th minute of the match Namık Kemal Akın shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but İrfan Kuthan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Aktan Uçuk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Boran Ongunsu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Azdavay SK's Erkut Başesgi got a free kick in the 95th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aktan Uçuk got free with Boran Ongunsu in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Aktan Uçuk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boran Ongunsu having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, Azdavay SK could leave the field as winners, despite Arac SK having more of the ball for most of the match.
