Ömer Rıza Taşan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adil Haktanır, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Hamur JK's zone, Salih Okdemir stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mithat Lema came out of the goal and Salih Okdemir tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 11th minute, Rıfat Yusuf ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mithat Lema was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Hamur JK's Adil Haktanır got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kocasinan SK's goalkeeper Ömer Rıza Taşan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Rıfat Yusuf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rıfat Yusuf got free with Mithat Lema in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 34 minutes into the game, Kocasinan SK's Rıfat Yusuf nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mithat Lema made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. When Rıfat Yusuf came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Kocasinan SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rıfat Yusuf couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Salih Okdemir in the 40th minute of play forced Hamur JK's goalkeeper Mithat Lema to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rıfat Yusuf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 48 minutes, Rıfat Yusuf managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kocasinan SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rıfat Yusuf was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Salih Okdemir made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Halit Ziya Ekinci during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Halit Ziya Ekinci hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. 59 minutes into the match, Hamur JK's goal looked a bit too open when Rıfat Yusuf came free, but Mithat Lema reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 60 minutes, Rıfat Yusuf managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kocasinan SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rıfat Yusuf was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Salih Okdemir in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mithat Lema saved Hamur JK from getting behind. Ramiz Humbaracıbaşı sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mithat Lema made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Salih Okdemir in the 71st minute of play. In the 73rd minute, Hamur JK's Ramiz Humbaracıbaşı dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. 77 minutes into the match, Kocasinan SK's Rıfat Yusuf sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mithat Lema narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gazi Akçalı hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Ömer Rıza Taşan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ramiz Humbaracıbaşı in the 88th minute. Adil Haktanır sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 96 minutes into the match, Kocasinan SK's goalkeeper Ömer Rıza Taşan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ramiz Humbaracıbaşı. Kocasinan SK's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
