In the 15th minute, Eray Saraç ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aydemir Aşkın was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ertuğrul Erel in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aydemir Aşkın prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aydemir Aşkın showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ertuğrul Erel, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 91st minute, Derinkuyu FK's Hatemi Dikmen dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Derinkuyu FK's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
