Hasret Ulutekin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ahmet Seyfi Naim came out of the goal in the 49th minute to try and stop a shot by Edirne's Hasret Ulutekin. But to his dismay, Hasret Ulutekin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Macit Şanlı made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rıdvan Durul in the 58th minute of play. After having played for 60 minutes, Hasret Ulutekin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Edirne's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hasret Ulutekin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Basri Dağasan during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Basri Dağasan hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. 72 minutes into the match, Edirne's goal looked a bit too open when Rıdvan Durul came free, but Macit Şanlı reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Edirne getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Burak Razi hit a great ball. The Edirne players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
