Dumlupinar's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alemdar İlkay stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Yetkin Keskin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alemdar İlkay in the 54th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Atilla Tarkan İpekçi during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Seçkin Çalımbay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bektaş Okanay having to interfere. Bektaş Okanay made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hafız Başesgioğlu in the 81st minute. 83 minutes into the match, Dumlupinar's Hafız Başesgioğlu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bektaş Okanay narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 87th minute, Alemdar İlkay left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tokat fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
