After a rather tough play, Kirklareli's Ömer Rıza Yurtsever got a free kick in the 15th minute. Serbülent Karasu hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. In the 19th minute, Abdurrahman Şömel made a precise shot to the right of Kutlualp İlkin. Unkapani FK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After 23 minutes, Nebi Mertol mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Unkapani FK and the Kirklareli players grew even worse after the yellow card. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yağız Soysaltürk in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Doğuhan Sezgen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Doğuhan Sezgen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nebi Mertol went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Abdurrahman Şömel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Veysel Afşaroğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Kutlualp İlkin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Murathan Öztekin sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Unkapani FK's Kutlualp İlkin didn't even have to move. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

With a little luck, Kirklareli's Doğuhan Sezgen got control of the ball when Yağız Soysaltürk tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Resulhan Özakıncı fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Unkapani FK's protests and gave Resulhan Özakıncı a yellow card for diving instead. Murathan Öztekin scored 3-1 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kutlualp İlkin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Kirklareli's Doğuhan Sezgen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Kirklareli from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Kirklareli getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Mirkelam Vecihi hit a great ball. Nebi Mertol's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Doğuhan Sezgen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. Nebi Mertol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In a very dangerous position, a player in Unkapani FK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 71st minute. Penalty! After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Yağız Soysaltürk managed to get in a good position for a shot. Unkapani FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Yağız Soysaltürk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Doğuhan Sezgen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 86th minute Abdurrahman Şömel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kutlualp İlkin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, Kirklareli's Murathan Öztekin broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Unkapani FK's zone, Veysel Afşaroğlu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kutlualp İlkin came out of the goal and Veysel Afşaroğlu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Erbatur Sahadettin charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Erbatur Sahadettin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Unkapani FK getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Erbatur Sahadettin hit a great ball. Abdurrahman Şömel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 100th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kutlualp İlkin having to interfere. Kirklareli's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
