Mehmet Edip Özdal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Saffet Yatman made a huge save. After 24 played minutes Arnavutköy got a freekick which was hit by Doruk Tümkurt. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Arnavutköy's goalkeeper Yaşar Şahinoğlu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Yaşar Şahinoğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mecnun Onursan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emin Apaydın kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 30th minute, when Arnavutköy's Olgun İnan after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Saffet Yatman in Mudanya JK's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. Alkan Ulutan charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alkan Ulutan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 35th minute, Alkan Ulutan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mudanya JK's Emin Apaydın couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 35th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Arnavutköy. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Halim Ahsen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Mudanya JK's Behram Lokman ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Yaşar Şahinoğlu. Yaşar Şahinoğlu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. In the 56th minute, Mecnun Onursan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Mudanya JK defense, Halim Ahsen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Saffet Yatman. The Mudanya JK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Saffet Yatman should have stopped the shot. Mecnun Onursan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yaşar Şahinoğlu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. Alkan Ulutan hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. 69 minutes into the match, Arnavutköy's goalkeeper Yaşar Şahinoğlu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mecnun Onursan. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Mecnun Onursan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mudanya JK's supporters rose to their feet, but Mecnun Onursan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yaşar Şahinoğlu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 74th minute, Münir Ataergin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 75 minutes in the game, Behram Lokman fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Yaşar Şahinoğlu having to interfere. Alphan Mikail kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Mehmet Edip Özdal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saffet Yatman having to interfere. After having played for 82 minutes, Mehmet Edip Özdal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arnavutköy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mehmet Edip Özdal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mehmet Edip Özdal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Saffet Yatman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 87th minute, Mecnun Onursan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yaşar Şahinoğlu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 91st minute, Halim Ahsen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Behram Lokman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Mudanya JK supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Mudanya JK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
