Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Sungurbey Durali took the kick off in the first half of the match. A collision led to Mengen getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Şenol Özbilgin hit a great ball. Cengiz Zati struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Şahin Akbudun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Baskil. Şenol Özbilgin charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Şenol Özbilgin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Baskil booed when Mengen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Şenol Özbilgin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Çağlar Erten recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Şahin Akbudun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from İsmail Hakkı Şafak, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Sungurbey Durali sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 35 minutes into the match, Mengen's goal looked a bit too open when İsmail Hakkı Şafak came free, but Şahin Akbudun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Baskil's İsmail Hakkı Şafak slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Şahin Akbudun. That made the score 1-0 after 39 minutes of play. After having played for 43 minutes, Çağlar Erten managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mengen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Çağlar Erten was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Çağlar Erten scored 1-1 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cahit Arıkan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when İsmail Hakkı Şafak made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Cengiz Zati managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Baskil's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cengiz Zati was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 54 played minutes Mengen got a freekick which was hit by Şenol Özbilgin. The supporters of Baskil booed when Mengen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zeki Harmandalı didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cengiz Zati received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Şahin Akbudun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Mengen's Sungurbey Durali in the 72nd minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Cahit Arıkan was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Baskil through an amazing save. 74 minutes into the match, Mengen's goal looked a bit too open when İsmail Hakkı Şafak came free, but Şahin Akbudun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ahmet Danış Seyfi charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Cahit Arıkan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Çağlar Erten in the 92nd minute. In the 98th minute Sungurbey Durali shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cahit Arıkan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
