After having played for 10 minutes, Mustafa Necati Perker managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Corum's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mustafa Necati Perker was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kutlu Tekay might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Abdullah Koç. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kutlu Tekay ran back to his position shaking his head. Sarp Ensar placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Corum's Abdullah Koç played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Şanver Arslanoğlu in the 25th minute of play. The supporters of Corum booed when Carsamba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Şanver Arslanoğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mustafa Necati Perker got free with Emir Doğanay in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Güralp Şahinhan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emir Doğanay having to interfere. 44 minutes into the game, Güralp Şahinhan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Emir Doğanay. Güralp Şahinhan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Güralp Şahinhan to strike the kick off in the second half. Kutlu Tekay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Abdullah Koç tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kutlu Tekay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kutlu Tekay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdullah Koç having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Güralp Şahinhan in the 75th minute of play forced Carsamba's goalkeeper Emir Doğanay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 77 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Güralp Şahinhan sped through Carsamba's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Emir Doğanay. 83 minutes into the match, Corum's goal looked a bit too open when Şanver Arslanoğlu came free, but Abdullah Koç reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 88 minutes into the game, Bozkurt Civan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carsamba's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Corum the free kick. Güralp Şahinhan struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Emir Doğanay didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Corum. For all the effort they put into the match, the Carsamba players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Corum.
