The audience thought a goal was coming when Kutlu Tekay got free with Tanju Mertol in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Evren Davutoğlu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Cengiz Masum had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cengiz Masum struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Emir Doğanay didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Banaz JK. Emir Doğanay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evren Davutoğlu in the 73rd minute of play. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Banaz JK's goalkeeper Tanju Mertol, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 81st minute, Carsamba's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Evren Davutoğlu fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 86 minutes into the match, Banaz JK's Evren Davutoğlu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emir Doğanay narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Şanver Arslanoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Tanju Mertol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
