After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Ilgaz Sanal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kars JK's supporters rose to their feet, but Ilgaz Sanal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cafer Birtan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pars Ergönül received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Ahmet Göktuğ Hünerli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Pars Ergönül had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Zeki Perker took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 20th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cafer Birtan. Taslicay FK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Kars JK's zone, Ömür Yazar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmet Göktuğ Hünerli came out of the goal and Ömür Yazar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pars Ergönül in the 23rd minute of play forced Kars JK's goalkeeper Ahmet Göktuğ Hünerli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ömür Yazar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Göktuğ Hünerli having to interfere. If Ömür Yazar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pars Ergönül sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 41st minute Ömür Yazar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Göktuğ Hünerli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The referee showed Ali Çağrı Okatan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 66th match minute, Kars JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Erdem Uz to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 85 minutes, Batu Denizer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kars JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Batu Denizer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Batu Denizer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kars JK's supporters rose to their feet, but Tan Kuvvet was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cafer Birtan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
