After a defensive mix-up in Saraykent's zone, Batu Denizer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Semavi Dilsaz came out of the goal and Batu Denizer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 47 minutes into the match, Saraykent's goal looked a bit too open when Ilgaz Sanal came free, but Semavi Dilsaz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

If Zaid Müşfik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 56 minutes into the match, Ilgaz Sanal notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Saraykent's Semavi Dilsaz. Semavi Dilsaz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 59th minute Ilgaz Sanal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Semavi Dilsaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Batu Denizer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Semavi Dilsaz having to interfere. Ilgaz Sanal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 75 minutes into the game, Evren Semi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Saraykent's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kars JK the free kick. Evren Semi kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. 77 minutes into the match, Ilgaz Sanal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Semavi Dilsaz. Saraykent's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ilgaz Sanal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Kars JK's Ahmet Göktuğ Hünerli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Kars JK from getting a goal against them. After 86 played minutes Kars JK got a freekick which was hit by Tayyip Orbay. After having played for 88 minutes, Emrullah Sualp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Saraykent's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emrullah Sualp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kars JK's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
