Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Midyat's Ruhi Uluğ started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Ruhi Uluğ managed to get in a good position for a shot. Midyat's supporters rose to their feet, but Ruhi Uluğ was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enes Eyüpoğlu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yavuz Miran in the 5th minute of play forced Gürsu SK's goalkeeper Enes Eyüpoğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 11 minutes, Abbas Mürşit successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Okaner İlkan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Gürsu SK getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Ali Faruk Şanlı hit a great ball. After 17 played minutes, Midyat's İldeniz Cihangir shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Enes Eyüpoğlu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Midyat reached it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yavuz Miran in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Enes Eyüpoğlu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Yavuz Miran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Enes Eyüpoğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 27 played minutes Gürsu SK got a freekick which was hit by Bozkurt Ersevim. Ali Faruk Şanlı kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yavuz Miran in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Enes Eyüpoğlu saved Gürsu SK from getting behind. Midyat were awarded a corner in the 33th minute after Gürsu SK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. İldeniz Cihangir took the corner. İldeniz Cihangir made a great header on Midyat's corner, it was just that Gürsu SK's Enes Eyüpoğlu managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 35th minute, Ruhi Uluğ got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Abbas Mürşit made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Işık Tamay sent off a good shot on target. Korkutalp Tulun kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Işık Tamay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abbas Mürşit having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Okaner İlkan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Işık Tamay came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Gürsu SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Işık Tamay couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Okaner İlkan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gürsu SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Okaner İlkan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abbas Mürşit breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Abbas Mürşit made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Işık Tamay in the 56th minute of play. Işık Tamay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Enes Eyüpoğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yavuz Miran in the 66th minute of the match. In the 75th minute Ruhi Uluğ shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enes Eyüpoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Işık Tamay struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Abbas Mürşit didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gürsu SK. Korkutalp Tulun charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Korkutalp Tulun the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 79th minute, one of Midyat:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Midyat. The referee gave Gürsu SK a penalty, 81 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Gürel Sarim, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Midyat's Abbas Mürşit. 2-0. Enes Eyüpoğlu didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 85th minute, which inside left pole to 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in Midyat's zone, Okaner İlkan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abbas Mürşit came out of the goal and Okaner İlkan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Yavuz Miran managed to get in a good position for a shot. Midyat's supporters rose to their feet, but Yavuz Miran was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enes Eyüpoğlu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gürsu SK's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
