But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mustafa Oğuz Ünsi couldn't finish the play. Vecdet Bengi's late challenge caught a Halkali's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vecdet Bengi helped the player get up and apologised. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Halkali's goalkeeper Hüseyin Rahmi Ocakçı, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Akil Songur hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Hinis SK's Mustafa Oğuz Ünsi got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Güney Ayaz took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hüseyin Rahmi Ocakçı. Hüseyin Rahmi Ocakçı dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. The attack was good, but when Tayyar Türev in the 39th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Güney Ayaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hüseyin Rahmi Ocakçı having to interfere. If Güney Ayaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Erim Tuğkun fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Halkali's protests and gave Erim Tuğkun a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Halkali fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 47th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Hinis SK a penalty, 49 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Vecdet Bengi, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Halkali's Hüseyin Rahmi Ocakçı. 1-3. After the first half Hinis SK were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mustafa Oğuz Ünsi made a kick off. Güney Ayaz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 57thth minute tested the skills of Hüseyin Rahmi Ocakçı when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Hinis SK's Ali Cafer Ergönül played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tayyar Türev in the 63rd minute of play. Ali Cafer Ergönül showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tayyar Türev, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Ali Cafer Ergönül showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afşar Uygur in the 71st minute of the match. Güney Ayaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hüseyin Rahmi Ocakçı having to interfere. Hinis SK's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
