The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After 21 played minutes, Yumurtalik's Timur Eroğuz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Güray Aydemir came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Yumurtalik reached it. Tibet Sarphan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Güray Aydemir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Berat Şahsuvaroğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Can Cangiray tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Besiktas's Can Cangiray threw himself towards the right post 33 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Çakır Kurtuluş, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Mehmet Şefik Durali took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 52nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Güray Aydemir. Besiktas's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ender Beybolat might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Güray Aydemir. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ender Beybolat ran back to his position shaking his head. Güray Aydemir stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tibet Sarphan's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Can Cangiray showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Çakır Kurtuluş in the 59th minute of the match. If Ender Beybolat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Yumurtalik getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Tibet Sarphan hit a great ball. Çakır Kurtuluş fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Can Cangiray having to interfere. If Berat Şahsuvaroğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Can Cangiray showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Çakır Kurtuluş in the 80th minute of the match. Can Cangiray showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Berat Şahsuvaroğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Kamer Üstündağ was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 85 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 84th minute of the game. One of Besiktas:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Yumurtalik:s goal. Ender Beybolat let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 91st minute shot 0-1 at rihgt post. Can Cangiray showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Berat Şahsuvaroğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. In the 96th minute, Berat Şahsuvaroğlu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ant Besim recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Yumurtalik eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
