The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Recai Balta the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Van protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Recai Balta had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 5th minute, one of Van:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Van. Faruk Nafiz Salti took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Şakir Recai. Şakir Recai dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. The audience was convinced that Gürbüz Tanzer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Şakir Recai was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Mustafa Oytunç hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. If Gencer Usta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Sakut Mutlugün came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Rose Shield fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sakut Mutlugün couldn't finish the play. Gencer Usta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 38 minutes, Sakut Mutlugün managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rose Shield's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sakut Mutlugün was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Sakut Mutlugün managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rose Shield's supporters rose to their feet, but Sakut Mutlugün was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Şakir Recai breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 46 minutes in the game, Gencer Usta fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Şakir Recai having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gencer Usta to strike the kick off in the second half. Van's Şakir Recai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gencer Usta in the 51st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Gencer Usta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rose Shield's supporters rose to their feet, but Gencer Usta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Şakir Recai breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Şakir Recai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gencer Usta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kamber Tekinel during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Rose Shield's Kamber Tekinel got a free kick in the 59th minute. Kamber Tekinel got his second yellow card in the match during the 63rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Kamber Tekinel hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. After 68 played minutes Van got a freekick which was hit by Necat Ciray. After 70 minutes of play, Rose Shield's Sakut Mutlugün made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Şakir Recai was left in no man's land by his defense there! A hard shot 74 in the game by Atakan Güdü from a close distance when the talented İstemihan Sarih managed to make a qualified save. Rose Shield's players were relieved. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Van's goalkeeper Şakir Recai, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Atakan Güdü managed to get in a good position for a shot. Van's supporters rose to their feet, but Atakan Güdü was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. İstemihan Sarih breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Necat Ciray during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Necat Ciray hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Sakut Mutlugün ran back to his position shaking his head. After 89 minutes of play, Rose Shield's Gürbüz Tanzer made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net.
