Rüştü Batıray ran back to his position shaking his head. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rüştü Batıray made a kick off. The supporters of Sahinbey FK booed when Van was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yağız Özgurcan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kutluay Safir was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 59th minute. In the 94th minute, Sahinbey FK's Rüştü Batıray ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Şakir Recai. Şakir Recai yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. When the final whistle sounded Sahinbey FK left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Van.
