Bulut Onsal charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bulut Onsal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bulut Onsal hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Ali Macit Gazzal kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Anıl Ege Harmanda. That made the score 1-0 in the 16 minute of play. Ahmet Hasan İftihars short, quick shot in the 19thth minute got Anıl Ege Harmanda to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Zühtü Ongay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anıl Ege Harmanda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ali Macit Gazzal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bahce's Anıl Ege Harmanda proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Bahce from getting a goal against them. Ahmet Hasan İftihar came free with the goalkeeper in the 40th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Anıl Ege Harmanda could save by the left post. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ahmet Hasan İftihar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Anıl Ege Harmanda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Hasan İftihar, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Cabbar Ulucan hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Bahce's zone, Ahmet Hasan İftihar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anıl Ege Harmanda came out of the goal and Ahmet Hasan İftihar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tomarza's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
