In the 22ndth minute of the game Kutlay Denizalp who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Diski SK's Ahmet Necdet Ihlamur was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Diski SK's goal looked a bit too open when Mustafa Numan Tanalp came free, but Ahmet Necdet Ihlamur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Diski SK's zone, Kutlay Denizalp stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmet Necdet Ihlamur came out of the goal and Kutlay Denizalp tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Kutlay Denizalp managed to get in a good position for a shot. Niğde Akrepgücü SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Kutlay Denizalp was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ahmet Necdet Ihlamur breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 43rd minute, Kutlay Denizalp got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Şimşek Usluer's late challenge caught a Niğde Akrepgücü SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Şimşek Usluer helped the player get up and apologised. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
