Batuhan Tamkut struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Genco Totuk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bingöl. If Batuhan Tamkut had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Batuhan Tamkut fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Genco Totuk having to interfere. Celal Rafet didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ahmet Özaltan went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Cengizhan Zeynur scored 1-2 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Genco Totuk, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Batuhan Tamkut sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cengizhan Zeynur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Genco Totuk having to interfere. After the first half Bingöl were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aşkın Geylan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Bingöl's Ergin Kultigin got a free kick in the 52nd minute. In the 54th minute, Mustafa Haydar Sergen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 55 minutes into the match, Bingöl's goal looked a bit too open when Aşkın Geylan came free, but Celal Rafet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in ElazığSpor's zone, Batuhan Tamkut stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Genco Totuk came out of the goal and Batuhan Tamkut tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cengizhan Zeynur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 65 minutes, Ahmet Özaltan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ElazığSpor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmet Özaltan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 67 minutes into the match, ElazığSpor's goalkeeper Genco Totuk had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cengizhan Zeynur. Namık Masum kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ahmet Özaltan in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Celal Rafet saved Bingöl from getting behind. Aşkın Geylan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celal Rafet having to interfere. When Cengizhan Zeynur came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Bingöl fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cengizhan Zeynur couldn't finish the play. Genco Totuk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Batuhan Tamkut in the 87th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Batuhan Tamkut in the 90th minute of play forced ElazığSpor's goalkeeper Genco Totuk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Cengizhan Zeynur managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bingöl's supporters rose to their feet, but Cengizhan Zeynur was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Genco Totuk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match was over Bingöl could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than ElazığSpor throughout the match.
