Yavuz Gümüşcüoğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Özal İstikbal, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. 10 minutes into the game, Kayhan Mustafa recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sadettin Celvet. Kayhan Mustafa showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Kayhan Mustafa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ottoman FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Kayhan Mustafa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sadettin Celvet breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kayhan Mustafa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Sadettin Celvet made a huge save. A collision led to Istinye JK getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Turan Özsan hit a great ball. Erenay Işılay kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. In the 26th minute of the match, Kayhan Mustafa sent away a good long shot that could have become a goal, but Sadettin Celvet showed an example of his skillful tending and made the save just under the crossbar. Özdemir Tancan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sadettin Celvet having to interfere. One of Istinye JK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ottoman FC:s goal. When the match had been going on for 35 minutes, Ottoman FC's Kayhan Mustafa got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Sadettin Celvet.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kayhan Mustafa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Özdemir Tancan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ottoman FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Azmi Koçaslan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Sadettin Celvet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Dursun Ali Kayrar fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Istinye JK's protests and gave Dursun Ali Kayrar a yellow card for diving instead. After some careless play in the Istinye JK defense, Abdurrahman Temizkal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sadettin Celvet. The Istinye JK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sadettin Celvet should have stopped the shot. Yavuz Gümüşcüoğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afşar Kırgız in the 72nd minute of the match. Azmi Koçaslan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Sadettin Celvet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 78th minute Azmi Koçaslan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sadettin Celvet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Özdemir Tancan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Özal İstikbal during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Özal İstikbal kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Yavuz Gümüşcüoğlu came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Istinye JK's Yücel Erguvan. But to his dismay, Yücel Erguvan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. If Özdemir Tancan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that Ottoman FC were the better team. Ottoman FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
