In the 9th minute, Halkali's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after İzzet Refik fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Ahmet Bedri Sarıalp struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Ender Cesimi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Halkali. After a defensive mix-up in Yenimahalle's zone, Ahmet Bedri Sarıalp stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ender Cesimi came out of the goal and Ahmet Bedri Sarıalp tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Bedri Sarıalp in the 16th minute of play forced Yenimahalle's goalkeeper Ender Cesimi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ender Cesimi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abuzer Usman's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. 20 minutes into the game, Alptuğ Ozansoy was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Halkali's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Yenimahalle the free kick. The supporters of Yenimahalle booed when Halkali was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alptuğ Ozansoy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Güralp Öztürk kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Yenimahalle's zone, Ahmet Bedri Sarıalp stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ender Cesimi came out of the goal and Ahmet Bedri Sarıalp tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 33rd match minute, Halkali was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Seyfullah Bedük to maneuver through the defense. İzzet Refik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Hayyam Aksel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gökcan Dertsiz, 40 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. During the 43rd minute of the match Alptuğ Ozansoy completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Alptuğ Ozansoy a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 44th minute, Alptuğ Ozansoy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mustafa Haydar Zahir was the one to do the kick off. If Abuzer Usman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 57th minute, Ahmet Bedri Sarıalp got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ali Macit Çinucen hit a great ball. With a little luck, Yenimahalle's Ender Cesimi got control of the ball when Ahmet Bedri Sarıalp tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ahmet Bedri Sarıalp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ender Cesimi having to interfere. Yenimahalle's Ender Cesimi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abuzer Usman in the 80th minute of play. If Ahmet Bedri Sarıalp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 91 minutes into the match, Ahmet Bedri Sarıalp had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ender Cesimi. Yenimahalle's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ahmet Bedri Sarıalp was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. A hard shot 95 in the game by Ahmet Bedri Sarıalp from a close distance when the talented Ender Cesimi managed to make a qualified save. Yenimahalle's players were relieved. İbrahim Efe Toktaş blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ender Cesimi having to make a save. Halkali's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
