After 2 minutes, Güralp Öztürk mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Yenimahalle and the Sariyerspor players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 2nd minute, Güralp Öztürk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. İzzet Refik succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 5th playminute. Ender Cesimi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saffet Şinas in the 8th minute of play. Ender Cesimi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saffet Şinas in the 12th minute of the match. Vural Sami took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ender Cesimi. Ender Cesimi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 35th minute, Saffet Şinas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by İzzet Refik in the 47th minute of play forced Sariyerspor's goalkeeper Salih Hacılar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Saffet Şinas to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Yenimahalle's goal looked a bit too open when Saffet Şinas came free, but Ender Cesimi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Saffet Şinas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ender Cesimi was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Ali Nejat Akbulut's late challenge caught a Yenimahalle's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ali Nejat Akbulut helped the player get up and apologised. In the 55th match minute, Sariyerspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ali Nejat Akbulut to maneuver through the defense. Ali Nejat Akbulut got his second yellow card in the match during the 57th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 57th minute, Ali Nejat Akbulut hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Sariyerspor getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Enis Türegün hit a great ball. Ender Cesimi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Vural Sami could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Ender Cesimi made a huge save. Saffet Şinas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Ender Cesimi made a huge save. After 73 played minutes Yenimahalle got a freekick which was hit by Güralp Öztürk. Güralp Öztürk was shown his second yellow card after 75 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Güralp Öztürk kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vural Sami during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mustafa Haydar Zahir recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Saffet Şinas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sariyerspor's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
