Tayfun Baldemir stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ceyhan Yakup's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 28 minutes into the match, Aralik SK's goalkeeper Resul Berksoy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Can Duha. Resul Berksoy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Aralik SK's Vahdet Arkın got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Hatemi Derim took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 34th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Resul Berksoy. Aralik SK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Aralik SK's goalkeeper Resul Berksoy, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 39 minutes into the match, Ceyhan Yakup notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Fenerbahce SK's Tayfun Baldemir. Tayfun Baldemir was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ceyhan Yakup in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tayfun Baldemir saved Fenerbahce SK from getting behind. Tayfun Baldemir showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aktuğ Ozansu in the 43rd minute of the match. Tayfun Baldemir made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aktuğ Ozansu in the 46th minute of play. Ceyhan Yakup fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tayfun Baldemir having to interfere.

The wind increased when Aktuğ Ozansu made the kick off in the second half. Vahdet Arkın charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vahdet Arkın the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Fenerbahce SK booed when Aralik SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vahdet Arkın didn't get a good kick on the ball. Can Duha struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Resul Berksoy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fenerbahce SK. Tayfun Baldemir was a little too slow when Ceyhan Yakup got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 58th minute. The score was now 0-3. Aralik SK's Vahdet Arkın got his second yellow card of the match in the 61st minute. The referee ordered Vahdet Arkın off the ground. A collision led to Aralik SK getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Vahdet Arkın hit a great ball. Doğuş Eroğul hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Aralik SK's Resul Berksoy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Can Duha in the 66th minute of play. Fenerbahce SK's Can Duha got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpected shot in the 76th minute by Ceyhan Yakup got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Ceyhan Yakup had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Aralik SK getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Ahmet Kağan Ruhittin hit a great ball. When Ceyhan Yakup came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Aralik SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ceyhan Yakup couldn't finish the play. Mahir Murat struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Tayfun Baldemir didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aralik SK. If Ceyhan Yakup had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Fenerbahce SK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Aralik SK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
