The audience was convinced that Müslüm Saru's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lemi Okanalp was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. Nejat Erüstün made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cezmi Arabacı in the 7th minute of play. In the 9th minute Kutay Yenisey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lemi Okanalp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nejat Erüstün made an important save on a dangerous shot by Okanay Kutsan in the 10th minute. Kutay Yenisey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Lemi Okanalp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, GÖKSARAYSPOR's Nejat Erüstün threw himself towards the right post 19 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cezmi Arabacı, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Müslüm Saru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Okanay Kutsan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Lalapasa's defense didn't have a chance, in the 37th minute, when Caner Elçi scored to the left of an out of position Nejat Erüstün, making the score, 1-0. In the 41st minute, Okanay Kutsan made a precise shot to the right of Nejat Erüstün. Lalapasa's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cezmi Arabacı in the 44th minute of play forced Lalapasa's goalkeeper Nejat Erüstün to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Cezmi Arabacı kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nejat Erüstün. That made the score 3-0 in the 46 minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Müslüm Saru in the 57th minute of play forced GÖKSARAYSPOR's goalkeeper Lemi Okanalp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kutay Yenisey struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Lemi Okanalp didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lalapasa. In the 70th match minute, GÖKSARAYSPOR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ali Haydar Bulut to maneuver through the defense. 72 minutes into the match, Lalapasa's Kutay Yenisey sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lemi Okanalp narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Müslüm Saru came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Lalapasa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Müslüm Saru couldn't finish the play. Lemi Okanalp made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Kutay Yenisey sent off a good shot on target. In the 81st match minute, GÖKSARAYSPOR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ali Haydar Bulut to maneuver through the defense. GÖKSARAYSPOR's Lemi Okanalp proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save GÖKSARAYSPOR from getting a goal against them. After 83 minutes of play Lalapasa's Batuhan Nurtekin was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 84 played minutes Lalapasa got a freekick which was hit by Batuhan Nurtekin. Lalapasa's Nejat Erüstün played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cezmi Arabacı in the 85th minute of play. If Okanay Kutsan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Baki İncirli fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GÖKSARAYSPOR's protests and gave Baki İncirli a yellow card for diving instead.
