The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Murgul's Kutay Kurban played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Müslüm Saru in the 5th minute of play. After 8 played minutes, Murgul's Kuzey Orbey shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nejat Erüstün came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Murgul reached it. Nejat Erüstün showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yunus Cilasun, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gökcan Peyam during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Müslüm Saru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Kutay Kurban tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 31st minute Müslüm Saru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kutay Kurban saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 33 minutes into the game, Murgul's Yunus Cilasun nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nejat Erüstün made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Through an outstanding action, after 37 minutes, Kutay Kurban successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 41 minutes into the game, Lalapasa's Kutay Yenisey nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kutay Kurban made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 45th minute, İlhan Cezlan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Batuhan Nurtekin's late challenge caught a Murgul's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Batuhan Nurtekin helped the player get up and apologised. Batuhan Nurtekin kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Kutay Kurban showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kutay Yenisey in the 63rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Müslüm Saru in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kutay Kurban saved Murgul from getting behind. Yunus Cilasun struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Nejat Erüstün didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Murgul. Yunus Cilasun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 82nd match minute, Murgul was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nuratay Değer to maneuver through the defense. Lalapasa's Müslüm Saru got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Müslüm Saru struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Kutay Kurban didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lalapasa. Kutay Yenisey recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Lalapasa booed when Murgul was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. İlhan Cezlan didn't get a good kick on the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Lalapasa fully deserved thier win.
