Dorukhan Sabeddin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Veli Ersunal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Orhan Veli Erbaş in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oğuzalp Sönmezalp prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Veli Ersunal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erdal Samet in the 18th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orhan Veli Erbaş in the 22nd minute of play forced Çona FK's goalkeeper Oğuzalp Sönmezalp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oğuzalp Sönmezalp came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Tesvikiye JK's Taha Akburak. But to his dismay, Taha Akburak quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 28 minutes into the game, Turabi Adıgüzel threw the ball into play from the sideline. Çona FK's Hulusi Dalmaz quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hafız Sanal got free with Veli Ersunal in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hafız Sanal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Veli Ersunal having to interfere. 37 minutes into the match, Tesvikiye JK's goal looked a bit too open when Erdal Samet came free, but Veli Ersunal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Veli Ersunal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hafız Sanal in the 38th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hafız Sanal in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Veli Ersunal saved Tesvikiye JK from getting behind. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hafız Sanal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Enginalp Tokkan hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Resulhan Bakırcıoğlu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Oğuzalp Sönmezalp made a huge save. Oğuzalp Sönmezalp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orhan Veli Erbaş, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. When Hafız Sanal came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Çona FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hafız Sanal couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Hafız Sanal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Veli Ersunal was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Çona FK's Ahmet Kağan Yener got a free kick in the 87th minute. Resulhan Bakırcıoğlu made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 90thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Oğuzalp Sönmezalp would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Oğuzalp Sönmezalp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orhan Veli Erbaş in the 93rd minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Çona FK lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
