The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 minutes, Ahmet Seyfi Sirri mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sulakyurt and the Şahlar gücü Sk players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ahmet Seyfi Sirri hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Şahlar gücü Sk's Ozan Tacal got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mümtaz Demiray kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kamer Akersoy in the 8th minute of play forced Sulakyurt's goalkeeper Ahmet Rıfat Özdeğer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 10 played minutes Sulakyurt got a freekick which was hit by Adem Saygur. After a defensive mix-up in Sulakyurt's zone, Kamer Akersoy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmet Rıfat Özdeğer came out of the goal and Kamer Akersoy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mustafa Numan Işılay could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Mehmet Hakkı Boranalp made a huge save. The supporters of Sulakyurt booed when Şahlar gücü Sk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fahri Onsoy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kamer Akersoy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Ahmet Rıfat Özdeğer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, Ozan Tacal made a precise shot to the right of Ahmet Rıfat Özdeğer. Sulakyurt's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Okanay Bender took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ahmet Rıfat Özdeğer. Ahmet Rıfat Özdeğer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Mehmet Hakkı Boranalp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Coşkun Çelikkan in the 30th minute of the match. Fahri Onsoy charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fahri Onsoy the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Fahri Onsoy kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Şahlar gücü Sk's Mehmet Hakkı Boranalp proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Şahlar gücü Sk from getting a goal against them. Kerim Sufi struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Ahmet Rıfat Özdeğer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Şahlar gücü Sk. When Coşkun Çelikkan fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sulakyurt's protests and gave Coşkun Çelikkan a yellow card for diving instead. 38 minutes into the game, Şahlar gücü Sk's Ozan Tacal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ahmet Rıfat Özdeğer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. After a rather tough play, Şahlar gücü Sk's Fahri Onsoy got a free kick in the 42nd minute. In the 46thth minute of the game Ozan Tacal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sulakyurt's Ahmet Rıfat Özdeğer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With an all-out effort, Sulakyurt's Mehmet Hakkı Boranalp threw himself towards the right post 48 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Coşkun Çelikkan, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hamit Tolunay to strike the kick off in the second half. Sulakyurt's defense didn't have a chance, in the 51st minute, when Beşir Hatim scored to the left of an out of position Ahmet Rıfat Özdeğer, making the score, 0-4. With his leg Ahmet Rıfat Özdeğer managed to avoid a goal in the 55thth minute, when Şahlar gücü Sk's Ozan Tacal fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 58th minute, Şahlar gücü Sk's Ozan Tacal ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ahmet Rıfat Özdeğer. Ahmet Rıfat Özdeğer yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. A collision led to Sulakyurt getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Ahmet Seyfi Sirri hit a great ball. In the 62nd minute, Arif Cengiz Onul ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ahmet Rıfat Özdeğer was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. In the 65th minute, Beşir Hatim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Şahlar gücü Sk getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Sergen Özen hit a great ball. In the 70th minute, Ozan Tacal made a precise shot to the right of Ahmet Rıfat Özdeğer. Mehmet Hakkı Boranalp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hamit Tolunay, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. If Ozan Tacal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kerim Sufi hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. 86 minutes into the match, Sulakyurt's goal looked a bit too open when Ozan Tacal came free, but Ahmet Rıfat Özdeğer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Sulakyurt's Ahmet Rıfat Özdeğer got control of the ball when Kamer Akersoy tried to sneak it across the goal line. Beşir Hatim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Rıfat Özdeğer having to interfere. Kamer Akersoy could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Ahmet Rıfat Özdeğer made a huge save.
