In the 7th minute, Cüneyd Acaröz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Çağlar Team fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Hazro's Sedat Saver slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cengiz Tokuz. That made the score 1-1 after 10 minutes of play. In the 17th minute, Adem Ömürcan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kamil Gerdaneri was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. 20 minutes into the match, Çağlar Team's goal looked a bit too open when Taner Sözen came free, but Cengiz Tokuz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 23 played minutes Çağlar Team got a freekick which was hit by Gürkan Cabir. If Sedat Saver had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cengiz Tokuz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Taner Sözen in the 31st minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Sedat Saver could shoot a difficult shot in the 35th minute, which Cengiz Tokuz however easily saved by the left post. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Hazro's goalkeeper Kamil Gerdaneri, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Taner Sözen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Taner Sözen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hazro's supporters rose to their feet, but Taner Sözen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cengiz Tokuz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cüneyd Acaröz was the one to do the kick off. Kamil Gerdaneri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cüneyd Acaröz in the 51st minute of the match. If Sedat Saver had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 56th minute, Çağlar Team's İsmail Keyfer seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed İsmail Keyfer the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Çağlar Team protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and İsmail Keyfer had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Çağlar Team fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 55th minute. Penalty! Hazro's Kamil Gerdaneri proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Hazro from getting a goal against them. Mustafa Namık Çol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kamil Gerdaneri having to interfere. 68 minutes into the match, Hazro's goal looked a bit too open when İlyas Tolga Candemir came free, but Kamil Gerdaneri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 71 played minutes Hazro got a freekick which was hit by Sedat Saver. In the 74th minute, İlmi Ertuna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 78th minute Taner Sözen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cengiz Tokuz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adem Ömürcan couldn't finish the play. Many of Çağlar Team's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Çağlar Team may have spent more time on the ball, but Hazro were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
