Ali Macit Isfahanlı showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Gündüz Sancar in the 4th minute of the match. After 5 played minutes Sahinbey FK got a freekick which was hit by Cenap Bedi. Ferhat İslamoğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Macit Isfahanlı having to interfere. 10 minutes into the match, Cheleby's Okanalp Ayvaz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ali Macit Isfahanlı narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 12th minute Bedri Muzaffer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Güralp Ruhsan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Okanalp Ayvaz got free with Ali Macit Isfahanlı in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Cheleby's Anıl Nedim got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 25th minute Bedri Muzaffer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Güralp Ruhsan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Sahinbey FK booed when Cheleby was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anıl Nedim didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adnan Orun ran back to his position shaking his head. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bedri Muzaffer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Okanalp Ayvaz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ali Macit Isfahanlı was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. After some careless play in the Sahinbey FK defense, Ahmet Gündüz Sancar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ali Macit Isfahanlı. The Sahinbey FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ali Macit Isfahanlı should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Cheleby had won after a very even match.
