The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mazhar Tuğsav made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Berk Ünalp in the 17th minute of play. Eskipazar's Mazhar Tuğsav played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Necmi Akaltan in the 18th minute of play. Mazhar Tuğsav stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Berk Ünalp's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Berk Ünalp made a kick off. If Berk Ünalp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Necmi Akaltan got free with Mazhar Tuğsav in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Arif Bilge Akersoy came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Eskipazar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arif Bilge Akersoy couldn't finish the play. Necmi Akaltan struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Mazhar Tuğsav didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for galatasaray. In the 66th minute, Berk Ünalp got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Eskipazar getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Neşat Dadaloğlu hit a great ball. Mazhar Tuğsav was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Kerim Uygun. In the 71st minute, galatasaray's Berk Ünalp ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mazhar Tuğsav. Mazhar Tuğsav yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. The long shot by Turabi Onursu in the 74th minute really tested Mazhar Tuğsav's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Bedri Tunçkol's late challenge caught a galatasaray's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bedri Tunçkol helped the player get up and apologised. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Eskipazar's goalkeeper Mazhar Tuğsav, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mazhar Tuğsav was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Berk Ünalp showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 91 minute of play. The Eskipazar supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching galatasaray's performance. The match ended with a win for galatasaray.
